Terms of Service
1. Nature of Service When & Where Points Consulting LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides research and strategic consulting regarding credit card points, frequent flyer miles, and loyalty programs. We are a consulting firm, not a travel agency. We provide recommendations and instructions; the client is responsible for executing all point transfers and bookings.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy Our refund policy depends on the specific service purchased:
Award Flight Research / Search Fee ($50): This fee is a "Success-Based" deposit. If we are unable to find an award flight that matches your specified criteria (dates, destination, and cabin class) within the agreed-upon research period, this $50 fee will be fully refunded to your original payment method. If we successfully find a matching itinerary, the fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to book it.
Consultation & Strategic Services: For all other services (including but not limited to 1-on-1 strategy sessions and full itinerary planning), all sales are final. Because these services involve immediate, custom labor and expert time, no refunds will be issued once the session or research has commenced.
3. No Guarantee of Availability Award seat availability changes by the second. While we use professional-grade tools to find real-time space, we cannot guarantee that a seat will remain available between the time we send our recommendation and the time you attempt to book.
4. Limitation of Liability We are not responsible for errors made by the client during the transfer of points or the booking process. Once points are transferred to an airline or hotel partner, they generally cannot be moved back. Our total liability for any claim is strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the service in question.
5. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
